Terms of Sale & Disclaimers

Last updated: October 2026 • Governing Law: England & Wales

1. Nature of the Service

HagglePlate provides informational automotive intelligence dossiers compiled from publicly available UK Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) and DVLA MOT test records. We apply parametric cost algorithms to estimate approximate replacement costs and suggested negotiation scripts.

2. Crucial Mechanical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT NOTICE: An MOT test is a basic legal roadworthiness check performed on a specific day; it is not an exhaustive physical warranty or guarantee of mechanical fitness. HagglePlate reports are guidance tools designed to assist in buyer price negotiations. We do not inspect vehicles in person and cannot warrant against unrecorded, latent, or future mechanical breakdowns. Always arrange an independent professional mechanical inspection prior to completing a purchase.

3. Purchases & Digital Delivery

Upon successful payment via Stripe, access to the digital dossier is granted immediately via your web browser and sent to your designated email address. Because access to the full digital content is immediate, you agree that under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, your 14-day statutory right to cancel is waived once report generation has commenced.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by English law, HagglePlate and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, vehicle repair expenditures, or failed transaction disputes arising from reliance on any information or negotiation scripts provided.
